cwg

hai frinds,
i am certainly not looking forward to give u a clear picture on cwg mss bcoz i know little aoubt it.
just my views on last two big games.
as in china ,we didnt believe in long term planning, just a last minute rush n still appeared catchy on our opening ceremony.by the closing cremony we achieved all  that we aimd for seond in games n crtain boost to our mdal tally.there s nothing much to jump around since it was one of the worst games in terms of participation ,all big guns not there n fewer new games rcord,so it was like a glory granted n not achieved.
i know this may hurt someone who has tried hard to get there.athletes coming good was a wonderful story, because this is one area where we always feel let down.girls 4*400 team is crtainly looking in good shape.shooting as good as ever, wrestling i didnt know of this sport till last olympics.thats whee they have succeeded to let pople know that we can do a lot better n certainly thir spirits are up.this things give a new confidence to, the people, yes ctainly india is showing symptoms of growth.boxing certainly have the glam of ROCKY and i think we just started to show up i this ramp as well.hockey was good till the final where in  we have shown that winning has not bcome our habit yet.badminton thanks to saina, a women bringing up a sport a rarity but good, a  real upliftmnt of women rather than what we see in clubs.tennis devvarmann( srry if left the spelling wrong) has managd to take the centrstage in spito of the hyderabadie, but needs better stages   to make a mark in the so called OPENS .this one liners of mine crtainly dont cover all the sports ,i know still archery, rowing ,marathon throw events etc.left, yes certainly we do need memorabl performances from indians to call it our sport.
THE ASIAN games was more convincing for me, though we didnot get a century of medals there, all were brought with great hard work n determination.this wasnt a easy stage n we  bettered our position from seventh to sixth n upgraded oud medally tally,in spite of a lacklusture performance from our shooters n wrestlrs.we did it make it big  in athletics,n addd few more bronzs to our name.i dont believe in training our athltes as they do in china or  elsewhere, we should not make life harder for somone in the name of training but just someone who rally feels that they have asport in them.sometimes in our long journey to dig at others,we n our govt was not able to find the dreams of many n help them out.we wont be remembered for the number of medals only with a pakka josh perormance.
hoping that i have not over reacted
jojo sighns up

hai frds,i am a begnr so just bear with me at hard times
what i love about kerala
kerala sports
the most cmn game i see around is criket, much different from what u see in a tv
we use a madal as our bat (our own kera product) which ofers a high back lift and full swing rarely in contact with ball.rubber balls (kottayam prdt) offer grt speed and that extra bit of bounce which forces us to take up a blind shot .thats why we r known for our bravery rather than cricket.then seventies another back breaking game that make us ven tougher.
kerala dish
flt good when i was in tamilnadu or andhra.the best being 'chamandhi',then i think we like 'eri n puli
we also try a fw things frm coockery shows, just to catch up with modern trends'
kerala weather report
last few years have been unpredictable, other wise best place to be in,especially near a small 'aaru'
kerala fishes
kareemeen the best among locals,'neymeen' also available, fish curry a must in many homes
kerala trdition
evry one talks about it, but knows little about it
celebrations
simply best if beverages not declared holidayand no power cut
politics
united in opposition,divided in power
people
dont care attitude sometimes helps, other wise happy that evrybdy is doing their buisnss
thats it for now
